Teacher Sandra：

" I would like to nominate Helen Sun for student of the month，She takes genuine delight in learning social studies and is often well ahead of lessons in her reading. This means we have more time for discussing her questions about the lesson and can explore some of her areas of interest more thoroughly together. She has learned how to write a western- style analytical essay very quickly and in a way that gets to the heart of the lesson in question. She has consistently shown herself to be an Excellent and highly motivated student."

Teacher Thomas：

" I would like to nominate Roseanna Zhou for student of the month，beyond the usual traits of dedicated, hard-working, etc.., She has been willing to tackle some of the most difficult material i've shared with a student. At present, we are working our way through Romeo and Juliet in it's original, early mordern english form. This is an incredible undertaking for native-speaking students llet alone those who don't speak natively. She has been patient and doggedly determined and i honestly can't imagine a more deserving student, even if only for agreeing to give Shakespeare a try!''

Teacher Robin：

" I would like to nominate Sunny Qin for student of the month，i have been teaching Sunny for a year. Speaking English was hard for her. Each lesson consisted of her learning new words and getting comfortable with me and the reading. She decided to focused on social studies. With her interest in the subject and her mom, Elle, by her side we both have made this young girl talk more, read better and enjoy each class more. Her mom doesn't siit with her anymore and classes are going great, I hope to teach her for a long time.''

Teacher Nancy：

" I would like to nominate Leo Xie (Logan) In every class Logan's participation has been stellar. He has set high goals for himself and knows when and how to ask for help to attain them. Logan has been willing to do all the extra work i give him such as the two novels he has already finished. He is a highly motivated student who continues to ask for more.''

" I would like to nominate Angel Hu for student of the month，She is a wonderful student who takes notes and is eager to discuss the topic in the lesson. She works hard to learn the material and studies for each test.''
